It's Time for Graduation
The graduating classes have been hard at work preparing for Wednesday's ceremony. We'll be performing three songs we learned this year in music class.
The first is a cover by Bonnie "Prince" Billy, The World's Greatest
Next we'll be singing Do-Re-Me, a classic from the musical "The Sound of Music" written by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Finally, the conclusion of the program will be Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In by The Fifth Dimension. This song was featured in the popular 60's musical, Hair.
I can't wait to see you all graduate, but will miss hearing your voices every week in music class.

Pet Theme Last Week
Nothing says 'personal responsibility' to a 6 year old more than owning a pet. Don't want that much responsibility? Then just draw one instead! We had a couple butterflies, a couple fish and a lot of rainbows. My personal favorite was John Johnson the fish with rainbow streaks!

Art Theme 2/10/14: Things That Go Together
This week we will explore things that go together! The students will color a composition and then cut it up. Afterwards they will piece the art work together one by one to create a whole new composition. This one's gonna be fun! :)

White and Proud!
Today was WHITE day!!! Where only whites were allowed to be paraded around in. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's pieces of blue flair.
