Reindeer Windchimes ringing in the rain!
They looked awesome and I hope we can get some good weather next week during outdoor activity time so we can check them out.
Music Class Theme Song: Puppets (8/5-8/8)
When we come back from vacation our weekly theme will be Puppets. So, what better than some Pinocchio, puppet extraordinaire? All of the classes will be singing I've Got No Strings. Have a listen with your kids while you're on break.

Music Class Theme Songs: Beach & Ocean (7/15-7/19)
For our last week before vacation the students will be learning about the Beach & Ocean. I've chosen a couple more songs about encounters with animals in or near the water.
Koala, Kangaroo and Reindeer classes will learn Down By the Bay by Raffi.

You can sing along or follow a call and response style.
Dolphin, Panda, Giraffe and Elephant classes will sing At the Bottom of the Sea by Ralph's World. And I'm gonna swim swim swimma swim...

Music Class Theme Songs: Sea Life (7/8-7/12)
Next week our theme here at Sullivan School will be Sea Life. The ocean has a vast abundance of life but we'll be singing songs that focus on just whales and octopuses.
Koala, Reindeer and Kangaroo classes will be singing Baby Beluga.
Koala, Reindeer and Kangaroo classes will be singing Baby Beluga.
We'll be singing the Nancy Cassidy version and without the 3rd verse, but this is close.
Dolphin, Panda, Giraffe, and Elephant classes will sing a great Beatles tune as covered by Raffi.
This is the Raffi version. The video is a bit strange, but the song is spot on.

I scream, You scream, We all scream for ICE CREAM!
Students are hanging out with their homemade ice cream cones for our summer theme. Brian's favorite is mango, so he doubled up on his guilty pleasure.
